Ok, I'm after seeing an ad for my school's open night in the local paper and the ad said that the school was a ''School of Excellence''.

Well what exactly has my school done to gain this title?

  1. What's your school?

Don't forget, PR is all about glorifying something, making it into something more than it actually is without crossing the line into outright lying.

  2. i went to belfast high school in Newtownabbey, Co. Antrim pretty good school

  3. unless your school has the highest marks in ireland or a brilliant football team etc, id say they named it that themselves to make the school look good.

i hate how schools do that, all year round till open night the school doesnt look that great inside, but when it comes to open night the school is presented in the nicest possible way with loads more on display than there actually is.(well thats what happens in my school)

  4. It may have got some of the best grades in certain subjects like maths etc. Local scholl to me, St Mary's has recognition as a School for Excellence in dance and drama.

  5. st Gerard's, bray,,,co wicklow baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!

best hockey school in the whole d**n vicinity

    x*x

  6. Nothing, They just named it that themselves.
