Does anybody know what the following means?

Ta se sin go maith

Is an hailin liom go reibh tu mo charide

  1. Tá sé sin go maith = Thats ok/good/fine

    "Is an hailin liom go reibh tu mo charide" this sentence isnt good Irish but its understandable.

    They are trying to say "Its beautiful to me that you are my friend"


  2. the first phrase literally translates to : He is that good / quite

    this then translates into modern language as - He is okay !

    i am unsure about the second bit but - "tu mo chairde" translates to "you my friend " and " is an " and "liom" probably turn the phrase into -

    " I am to be ------------ to you my friend "

    If not for the invention of Alcohol,
