Iron won't heat up!!!

Question

Sometimes the orange light is on - most of the time it seems that there is a electrical short or something because it won't stay on. I am trying to iron right now and it won't stay on! I have tried other electrical outlets in my house and it still won't light up.............so obviously the problem is with this iron. Please help! I know this iron was pretty expensive and it should deliver what it promised!
