Ironic Situations???

Question

Ok so for english we have to write an additional ironic situation to this one story, and it has to be like an ironic wish, as in u wish for something and it comes true but in an ironic way.

for example: "a guy wished he could live forever, so the wish is granted, but he doesn't believe the wishgiver, so he wants him to prove that he's going to live forever. So the wishgiver cuts off the guys head, and the guy lives with his head off forever."

so can comeone please give me another those types of ironic wish ideas. thank you.

A man is out jogging on the sidewalk because he wants to live a long, healthy life. Sadly, he is run over by a car, defeating the purpose of jogging.

  A married couple in their early 60s was celebrating their 40th wedding  

anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant.  Suddenly, a tiny yet

beautiful fairy appeared on their table. She said, "For being such an    

exemplary married couple and for being loving to each other for all this

time, I will grant you each a wish." The wife answered, "Oh, I want to  

travel around the world with my darling husband."                        

                                                                          

The fairy waved her magic wand and - poof! - two tickets for the Queen  

Mary II appeared in her hands.                                          

                                                                          

The husband thought for a moment: "Well, this is all very romantic, but an

opportunity like this will never come again. I'm sorry my love, but my  

wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me."                        

                                                                          

The wife, and the fairy, were deeply disappointed, but a wish is a wish.

So the fairy waved her magic wand and poof!...the husband became 92 years

old.                                                                    

                                                                          

The moral of this story: Men who are ungrateful b******s should remember

A guy hit a bird with a rock while it was flying. then, the bird pooped on his head. he went home angry and took a shower, as he went back outside all fresh and clean, the rock came back down and hit him on the head, then a group of PETA supporters bludgended him into a coma with rocks.

Maybe someone wishes for a superpower, and there could be some horrible disadvantage to it, like super-hearing -- you would hear everything and never get any peace and quiet.

Someone wants to be thin for the rest of their life, and wishes that they could live without ever eating again. Then all that they can think of is the foods that they enjoyed and what they are missing.
