Well, the 4th of July weekend is over and gas prices have steadily dropped. Prices hit all time record high in Arizona on July 3rd ... maintained same price on July 4th; then have come down ever since the busy travel holiday is over. Should these gas station owners be in prison?

  1. The price of gas has gone down solemnly not surprisingly enough , because of demand. People are not using the product like they used to, because they are driving less. Another factor for the price dropping is that for the first time in years the president has given permissions to the gas companies to drill for oil on leased properties as well as the extraction of ice samples in ANWR for possible future drilling. This has fueled downward speculations on the price of oil.

  2. What happened was we decided we could drill.  It is just that simple.  Just the mention that the US would start drilling in the areas that were previously off-limits and price started to drop.  Just imagine what will happen if we can get congress off its lazy backside and also approve drilling.  Will someone please tell Pelosi and Reed that the American people want drilling and to get out of the way.

  3. Its just shock value it will be back up higher than ever when  Goerge the butcher invades iran in two weeks and to cull out the smaller investor making cash in buying and selling crude, You folks are in a rapidly escalating depression that needs slowing down and they dont know how .

  4. they want to make more money

  5. Why gas station owners? They hardly make any profit on gas sales. They make money on merchandise not on gas sales and they don't decide what the price should be. Go to your local stations and ask.
