Question:

Ironing special paper into a shirt ? help ? 10 points :D?

well i know there is that kinda paper at staples, i saw it not too long ago, and well i kinda want to try it . but it was EXPENSIVE ! so i dont wanna waste it or like not use it if it's not good . well is it permemit ? and is it worth it ?

  1. Avery makes decal transfer paper and you might be able to get it at Walmart as well.  It will hold up pretty well but here are a couple of things to remember, you can make designs or use photos to use in the iron on. I use Picture It, although just about any program will work, Make sure you invert the image so that it looks backwards that way it will be correct on the shirt. It's a good idea to print the image on regular paper to make sure it's the way you want it and you don't waste a decal sheet. One other thing, decals on white t-shirts will have rectangular shape and it's pretty noticable on white. Other colors don't show this as much. I think that light gray is the best to put most transfers on.


  2. Iron-on paper is pretty permanent.  I made a shirt with it for my husband about 8 years ago, and it's faded now, but still very much intact!  Go for it!

  3. it stays permanant for a long time, but if you wash it in your washing machine too much, it might come off or rip or something. just hand wash it and it'll be fine
