Ironman training program for a 75yrold?

I have started in 12 ironmans finished 10 but now I dont recover so quick Is the more you train the quicker you recover Any body got a full programm for an old guy I swim well, bike just fair Run is going to be difficult because I have a dropped foot disability

  1. I am an old runner, and would not think about doing a tri.

    But we all know that it takes longer to recover from workouts and injures as we age.

    I have found that doing less on the track actually helps my performances.

    I would think that you should spend most of your training in the water and on the bike rather than running.

    Running takes much longer to get over and if your times are good in the first two phases you can jog the run phase.
