  1. We're going through this too. The best thing to do is not stress about it. It'll be easiest to conceive when your periods are regular. Have you tried any of the ovulation test kits? The easiest one to use and read is the ClearBlue Easy digital test....it even comes with a pregnancy test. Good Luck!

  2. Irregular period = unpredictable ovulation = impossible to know when 3-4 days before ovulation is.

In other words, don't try... concentrate on just plain TTC.  With irregular periods, your easiest best bet is to just do the BD every other day.

  3. 1.  Depending on your age, the average person with the average 28 day period has a 20-25% chance of conceiving every month.  I'm not sure how the chances decrease with irregular periods, but assuming you ovulate on the months you do have your period, you will have a 20-25% chance of conceiving like the rest of us.

    2.  Irregular periods are not your concern, it's when you ovulate.  Buy ovulation predictor kids and also you should consider charting your temperatures to figure out when you might ovulate.  But if you're seriously considering taking the journey to trying to conceive, you should talk to your OB/GYN about your irregular periods.  There may be a drug they can prescribe that might help regulate your periods (Clomid).
