Irregular periods after taking Plan B morning after pill?

Question

So a week ago today my boyfriend and I were having s*x, and after a little scare I decided it'd be best to take a morning after pill, just to aire on the side of caution. I took the pill on the morning of Aug. 24th. Well today is the Aug 30th and I just started my period, and I'm not due till Sep. 15-16ish. Has anyone experienced getting their period early due to taking Plan B morning after pill? I guess I should feel relieved because this means I'm not pregnant, but I'm still a little confused. Thanks!

it's normal. i even called my doc. when i took it.

that happens--it will be diff for 2 months

It makes you have your period so that you do not become pregnant.  This is normal.  No 'padding' for the egg to stick to means no baby.
