Irregular stitches

I'm having a lot of problem with irregular stitches on my juki ddl 227. I've changed the needle, re threaded the machine, checked the bobbin, tried to adjust the pressure on the presser foot all to no luck. I'm sewing cotton shirting. any suggestions?
