Ok at my job my manager is really irresponsible. If she leaves something dirty then she has the assistant managers or someone else do it.Its her job to make sure everything is done right.I work at a theater and we are supposed to clean down the soad machines and the rest of us do and she doesn't.We come in in the mornings and she has it really filthy. She was supposed to clean between the theater chairs and she didn't so she wants us to in the morning and we will only have 30 minutes to do it!!How are we supposed to clean over 350 chairs?!?!Is there someone we can call and tell that she is really irresponsible?Should I call the owner and tell him?

  1. You can certainly go above her head!  If she's not leading the way she should be then defiantly let someone know.  I wouldn't suggest talking with her about it specifically because that will defiantly lead you down trouble's path.  I would make an anonymous tip in the form of a typed letter with out a return address on it and address it as a concerned employee.

  2. No, don't tell the owner directly. 1st make sure people you work with agree with you, then ask to speak to your manager privately, this way you two can say what you have to say. If your manager still doesn't listen, then it's time to report this. The people on your side will be your witness. Hope this helps.
