  1. Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), although technically, the effects are reversible.

    Taking high doses may build up un-phosphorylated levels of vitamin, which act as an anti-metabolite relative to the smaller levels of activated vitamin. This is just a hypothesis, but I can't seem to think of any other plausible reason. Research is ongoing.
