Question:

Irritated skin after waxing underarms? (Please read detail before answering)?

I'm getting married and I get really bad razor burn under my arms - so shaving is not an option, and too late to get laser.

I know it will hurt, and shaving is easier.

This is the one day that all eyes are on me, so I want to be as pretty as possible from head to toe.

I plan on doing it once before the wedding, but just to get an idea...will the skin be irritated for a day or two, or just a couple hours like when you get your brows waxed?

  1. In my experience, the skin is red for about a day. If you get your underarms waxed the day before the wedding, you should be good. If you're really concerned, then make it two days before.

  2. Nope the skin doesn't get irritated, at least my skin doesnt, keep applying cream though other then that nothing will happen. Waxing doesn't hurt by the way.

  3. Usually if its done professionally ,redness will go after an hour or two. and no irritation.Or try a small area just below the bikini it it got irritated then just go for the shave or twiz on the same day of the wedding.
