Question:

Is, "Out of Control Behavior," a bad charge?

I'm 16 and I'm going to court tomorrow. I was on a court designated worker's (CDW) contract, which is where you have to abide by the CDW's rules for atleast 6 months, and if you don't follow it, they send you to court. I'm being charged with, "out of control behavior," I believe. Is this a bad charge? What do you THINK the judge will do to me? By the way- the state is Kentucky is that matters any.

Please only serious answers, because this is a very serious question...

Thank you.

  1. I am not familiar with juvenile statutes in Kentucky, but the phrase that you use " out of  control ", means you are in need of "protection or services". What this means is, you need help conducting your life style. In Wisconsin you would fall under " JIPS", juveniles in need of protection or services

  2. It sounds like a city charge.  The city can have ordinances that the state doesn't have.  I'm guessing that you didn't abide my the rules for the diversion program which seems to be CDW.  The diversion probably was a slap on the hands, "don't do it again", kind of thing.  The reason you were expelled form the CDW is "out of control behavior".  What you did in the first place (to get you into CDW) is what you will be charged with...that's only an educated guess.   I doesn't sound like a bad charge...sounds like you made a lot of bad choices.
