  1. It does not seem too bad for the price, however if portability was not a huge problem for you i'd go with a tape based camcorder as you will not be limited to recording 1  hour before the camera fills up as you can replace tapes on the go and each record about an hour.

Besides for that, the quality will be quite good for any standard non digital TV, and also sort of acceptable on a high definition TV.

Also, that camera only has digital zoom and that isn't that great as you loose a lot of quality to zoom...

I know it says 0.3 Kpix, but with a resolution of 640 x 480, the resolution will be actually 307,200 pixels so it is probably 0.3 Mpix and they made a typo.

    Here is a picture with a resolution of 640 x 480 http://www.tv-handbook.com/images/UI%20S...

that is the size of each frame your camcorder can take, however it might have a bit less detail...

In summing up, I guess its alright for the price and it is very small, however it can only record for 1 hour before u need to offload everything to a computer and it doesnt have zoom.

  2. that's 300 pixels, about as low as I have seen.

but it also says "640 x 480 resolution" which is different.

  3. I have never heard of worse resolution... they are usually in megapixels, and there are 1000kilapixels in 1mp...so it must be extremely bad resolution...but you never know, go to walmart and check it out in person before you buy it.
