Is 1,779 gallons of water a lot?

i want to purchase a walmart pool but i am not sure if it is a lot of water or if its fine.

Depends on what you are comparing it to.  It's not alot if you are comparing it to an olympic pool and it IS if the comparison is a bathtub.  I can tell you that 1,779 gallons of water weighs 14,824 lbs (that's almost 7-1/2 TONS), so I wouldn't buy this pool to setup in your living room.  It is also about 240 cubic feet (that would be 10-ft wide, 8-ft long and 3-ft deep).

Its a lot. If you have a meter, try reducing it. If you don't have one and you want to not spend a lot of money it's fine, but its a lot water from environment :] think about 1,779 gallons of milk
