  1. nah its fine... only if u miss the bus :D

    how old are you??

  2. No its not too far. I've walked 13 iles to a friends house a couple times... before i had a car about 4 years ago.... of course i love walking... I also use to walkt to school everyday which was about 2.5 miles to my middle school and 1.5 to high and 3.5 to another middle school and about 2.5 to one of my elementary... So it all depends on whether you want to walk or not

  3. h**l no...you should be able to do that in any weather!  it will help you maintain shape too!  thats a short walk.

  4. No.. that is not far at all. Try it once when you have time and see how you like it.

  5. not unless you have heart problems or faint easely.

if so, i would advise you k=not too.

and you deff. have to like to walk if you dont think you could make it, i wouldnt do it...

  6. then if you did that is your schools pacer tests and your in shape and fast..you should be good 1.3 will be fine, your good to go:)

as long as you dont wake up to late or anything like that!

  7. 1.3 miles and thats hard?? dude i had to run 4 miles in phiz ed.

it'd be a great morning jog to school?

  8. No not at all!

Don't you remember running the mile in middle school?

  9. that shouldnt b nothing.. but weather will make walkin to school a pain..

  10. false

  11. you should be fine, but also consider if you would care to do that in the blistering heat, snow, rain etc.

  12. nah thats nothing if your in the shape you say u are. shouldnt take you but 20 minutes if you walk fast. less if you run.

  13. i don think so i had 2 run 3 miles 4 my personal fitness exam in skool n i did it in 29 minutes http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

  14. If you know you can run it then I think you will be ok.

  15. nah man.  I got 144 on the pacer test but just saying. lol. hah. but go for it dude. good way to keep in shape. if you have a bike you could do that too.

  16. No one mile is nothing...really...I have a 7 minute mile running...about a 15 minute walk so it might take you about 20 minutes which aint long at all

Yall can thumbs down me all you want but a mile is a mile is a mile...it dont change.  Its not a long way period the end

Plus! If this will be an everyday thing then it's the perfect way to start your morning to grow into a healthy man who takes good care of himself...you may soon find yourself wanting to wake up earlier so you can take a longer jog.  Some days weather might suck so you have to think about that...maybe getting a friend to take you on rainy days (suck up the cold, thats not an excuse...if anything it'll make you run faster lol)

  17. no its not to far i walk three miles to school u can do it

  18. Frankly, still you are not big enough to go alone.  In fact, your parents

will be happy that you are taking a walk but their main concern will

be about your safety and security.  In fact, it is not only your parents,

most of the parents will be worried if their child is of your age and wants to go alone to such a distance. Under the circumstances, I

will strongly recommend you to listen to your dear parents and let

them take decision, which would always be for your welfare only.

  19. yeah, duh. I've done 10 miles and i am not in shape. 1.3 miles should be a piece of cake!

  20. Depends on your job (do you stand all shift, sit, or a combo of the two), the weather, and whether you have 30 minutes to spend traveling 1.3 miles on foot.  Sounds like physical condition is not a factor in this.

  21. not at all if your up for the challenge

  22. I used to run that far to school when I was a kid, 50 years ago. There was no bus, so I did this in all kinds of weather. I'm STILL in shape, so believe me, it will do you a lifetime of good to get in shape and stay in shape.

  23. definately not too far, at least on a good day

  24. it'll be easy for you:)

  25. thats a good distance..but do you really want to go to school sweaty from running?

  26. If you know your way and its a safe route it should be easy as 123.

  27. no its fine..=]

  28. what about the weather?

  29. No way. I walked it a couple times last year in -2 degrees. It gets pretty cold here in Ohio. "It's my fault I missed the bus."

  30. no

  31. definitly not too far if you are as in shape as you say you are, maybe even to short!
