Despite the thousands of miles American Coke has to travel, it is usually cheaper than Japanese-made Coke, which typically sells for 120 yen ($1.14) in a 12-ounce can from vending machines. American Coke costs as little as 70 yen (67 cents), or 40 percent less, said Kazumasa Nagasaki, president of a company that imports American Coke. That compares with about 80 cents in the United States. ''I have never seen Japanese Coca-Cola for 70 yen,'' he added.

  8. Definitely No!!!

1 dollar is not as same as 1 yen. If in America you are paying 1 dollar for a packet of chocolates then in Japan you have to pay 100-120 for the same. Think from the point of view of Rs and Dollar. In India we can buy a beer with Rs 400 here then in US you would have to spend around $30 for the same.

  9. no i dont think so.
