Is 1 whole week in bremen germany too much?

My friends and I are thinking for going for a holiday in Bremen for the first week of September. Though we are not sure if we are able to full fill the holiday for a week. Are there lots of places which we can visit to full fill a week? Also are there any places maybe nearby which we might go to? Also during the evenings are there any places where we can go to?

Bremen is a very pretty city and there are plenty of things to see.  It is not very big, so probably you would be bored after couple of days but do not worry. Hamburg is one hour away :) and the German railways offer some cheap tickets for tourist groups (up to 5 people): http://www.bahn.de/international/view/en...

Check out Bremen, Niedersachsen-Ticket (Lower-Saxony-Ticket). Most tourists that visit Bremen also go for a day to Hamburg.

During the evenings, you can go to the center, as there are plenty of bars and pubs,as well as couple of clubs:

Stubu - 4 floors with different music, for young people

Modernes - if you are a student/young, i suggest Jura party, Freaky Friday, Tanz Nacht - dance, pop, rock ect. For Modernes you have to check what party it is, as it could get reaaaally boring if you go to the wrong one

Tower - rock music

Zucker - house, minimal I don't really know the music there
