I've been to London a couple times before, however, this was 10-15 years ago. We mostly want to get a tube pass, see a site, go on a walking tour, and eat. We will be there 10 days. None of of dinning will be in upscale restaurants and we probably won't be bringing anything back like T-shirts. We do like beer though...so take that into consideration :)

  1. If 100 pounds per day does not inlclude your hotel, then you could make it work.

  2. Well, even without taking a hotel into consideration, it's going to be tight.  I've found that at lunch time sandwiches from some of the kiosks are very good and reasonable.. I especially like the one near St. Pauls.

However, even a modest meal out is going to be very pricey. I found modest meals cost as much as what i would pay for a "special" night out meal in the U.S.

  3. If your hotel cost is not included in the £100 per day, you should be okay, but if it is, then you are going to struggle. Have a look at www.visitlondon.com for ideas and help.

Hope that helps. Have a good time.

  4. That is not enough money.  London is a very expensive city.

Plus, hotel prices are also expensive.
