  1. I would say in urban California that the answer is Probably Not.

Consider the amounts to pay for the following and determine the math:

Do you have public transportation or a vehicle?

    Insurance?

    Out of pocket Medical?

    Utilities?

    School Expenses?

    Food?

    Toiletries?

    Laundry/Clothes?

    Parking?

  2. not very comfortably. it all depends on what bils you have (car payment, insurance, fuel, gas bill, electric bill, water bill) and what your basic expenses are for food and clothes and things. don't just jump into anything without putting pencil to paper first. my house payment (which is usualy cheaper than rent) and utilities are over $1400 a month. figure everything about 10% higher than you think it will be.

  3. Yes if you are wise with it.

  4. You very well could make it with that much. But you need a budget. Need an idea as to how to budget for food. Household needs.. such as toilet paper, dishes, paper towels. If your able to do all that and have extra on hand ? Put it in the bank ! Save it for a rainy day.  Budget and planning will be the main things here though.

  5. honestly, you PROBABLY COULD, however: it isn't reccomendable to cut is as close as you are, any extra income at all should suffice to protect you from disaster.
