Is 103 normal for a grade five student?

That is what I got and I am in Gifted. I think that is bad!

103 IQ is smack dab in the  middle, average.

103 what?  I don't understand the question.  Are you talking about your score on a test, and if so, what test?  An IQ test?  If you are talking about an IQ test, then 100 is average, so 103 is almost exactly average, considering they go up to...what? something in the 200s.  So, yes, it is "normal", and if you think being average is "bad" then I guess you are.  And "Gifted" in what?  A gifted school, a gifted program at a public school, or a gifted after school program?  "Gifted" isn't a standardized term that means the same thing at every school, so even if you are in a gifted program at your school, that doesn't mean that you are technically "Gifted" and that that applies to everywhere you go.

Well, gifted students fall within the range of 130-140,  but if it was an online iq test I wouldn't at all be concerned.  Those things aren't certified iq tests and you probably weren't 100% focused when you were taking it.  Don't worry about it.
