Is 1070 a bad SAT score (math/reading only)?

This was my first time taking the SAT. I feel like I'm way better than a 1070. I'm actually going to take a SAT prep class in the fall.

thats okay, the average is about 500 on each

try to improve, and if you could make it to about 700 on each, you might even have a shot at an Ivy League!

1070 is definitely not a bad score, but it's not really that impressive either.

A prep class will definitely help ( I recommend the Kaplan prep class, it helped me a lot!)

Good luck with everything, and try taking the ACT, you might do better on it.
