  1. i think that is a perfect time.. no a days its just not safe out there.. my 14 yr old comes home by 6 630 latest... maybe im over protective. but hey kids no a days are very curious.. and all u can do it instill some rules and cerfew and trust them... 11 i think is good.. just enjoy what time u have now...

  2. Half 9 at the latest!! when my friend was 16 she had to be in at 9!!

  3. too late

  4. no should be 8pm at latest.

  5. Naw. Man why would you wanna stay up that late anyway? I'm 16, I go to bed at like 9:00 so i can get through the next day without falling asleep at my desk =]

  6. Depends on the 14-year old, where one is going, and if its a school night. In general it sounds reasonable, though.

  7. not really

    but u could try 2 push 4 11:30

  8. when i was 14 my curfew was 9pm so i think your d**n lucky.  dont push your luck, trust me, your parents are right in the long run

  9. thats too late, I remember when i was 14 i had to be in at 10:00 on weeknights and 12 on weekends

  10. It depends what state you live in. In my opinion i think it stinks, but i just learned about it in school and it is a law that children and teens have to be in at a certain time.

  11. I think it's a bit late, maybe ok on the weekend if you''re in a group and I knew where you were.

  12. no    9:30 is probably the latest a 14 year old should be OUT.  At someone's house is different... plus, 1 year olds can't drive themselves home anyway so they need to be back before all the drunks start driving (i know if the curfew is 11 most would break it)

  13. Um...NO

  14. Really hating these answers aren't you?  Here is another you can hate.  On school nights I think you should be home by 8.  Another thing I would only let you out if you could show me that your homework was not only completed but correct.  This would include Sunday night.  On Friday and Saturday 11 is plenty late enough.  I would only allow you out that late if you were going to the movies or an adult supervised party or activity.  Other than those things your curfew would be 10.  Also no hanging with 16's.  You don't need to be in a car driven by a teenager.  And you thought your parents were strict.  My kids had even more rules, they also had chores that had to be completed before they could go anywhere.  That means during the day on weekends they still had to have their chores finished before leaving the house.  Just be glad your parents care enough about you to set curfews and rules.

  15. Not really. Far too late maybe.

The fact that some parent let their children do whatever they want should not make you forget that this is YOUR son... and that at 14, no matter what they think, they are children.

  16. Well it depends how early you have to wake up.If you can wake up early without being sleepy the whole day than yes it is.But if you cant wake up early that is a good time.Trust me we all need are sleep LOL!

  17. nope...I say 14....10pm

                   15-16....11pm

                 16 & up...12pm

in general...its what my parents did for me and my sisters and brother!

  18. Way too late.

  19. a bit late if you ask me

  20. Yeah you should make it 3am.

  21. I think it's too early. A fourteen year old... nine o'clock for awhile. When you REALLY trust them and their friends, make it ten.

  22. I think 10 is good.

What would you want to that wouldnt get you in trouble after that hour anyways?

  23. I think it is too late.

  24. A bit late

  25. 11pm? Way too late. You should be at home by about 9pm unless you've arranged a sleep-over or something.

  26. 11 is good.  Its not early., Its perfectly responsible.

  27. I'd say that's about right, and I'm fourteen. In fact, I think you're parents are pretty generous to let you stay out that late. wish mine would lol.

  28. no way i know some stuff that's gone down at 10 30 that 14 year olds shouldnt see

  29. not really

  30. It's tough being a kid...at 14 I had to be in by 10pm...but it is a sensible time....maybe your mates parents don't care as much as yours.

How would you get home if you came home later than the last bus?

  31. No, I think it's a little bit late.  I would say that 10pm is plenty late.  I really can't imagine what a 14 year old would need to be doing out at 11pm anyway, especially since you can't drive yet.  Now, if you were at a concert or something, I could see a later curfew, but them I would hope you'd be with a responsible adult.
