Well I was so ready for my lil man to sleep thru the night and finally he did! The night before last he slept from 10pm til 6am which is great! And then last night he slept from 10pm til 9:30am this morning. I'm wondering if 11 hours is too much sleep? He's not sick or anything so is this normal? I'm a first time mom to a 3 month old preemie (adjusted age 1 month) thx ladies!

  1. It's normal! My babies slept up to 14 hours straight at night (they still do). I would not change his schedule to 7pm to 7am if that's what works for you. My kids go to bed between 10-11pm and sleep till10-11am. Works great for us!! A later bedtime means you can stay out past 7pm without the baby becoming cranky because it is their bedtime. Enjoy your sleep and your new little one!

  2. You are soooo lucky!!  Its very normal amd perfectly ok!  As long as he is still eating and making enough peepee and poopy diapers during the day you are fine!

  3. Consider yourself very lucky!

  4. sounds normal, but do frequent checks!

  5. my son is not a preemie and he is 8 weeks old and he sleeps through the night. the longest has been 10 hours and the doctor said not too worry and dont even think about complaining

  6. if he is ok in the day and his normal self, then id say thats fine, great infact, thats a good nite sleep for you, xx

  7. It's fine but get him to sleep from 7pm till 7am instead now or you will have problems adjusting him when he gets older.
