Is 11 to early to get a cell phone?

Is 11 to early to get a cell phone. I know some people got one when they were 10 but i think thats to early-is 11 a good age?

I think that's way too early when your 11 you need to worry about school gym your buddies you shouldn't be away from home that much that you need a cell phone I think kids are growin up way to early and young kids don't know how to be kids.

I think that 13 is the best. That way you are a teen and you can accept new responsibilities. I am getting mine in November.

what is someone going to do with a cell when they are 11, you can't go on dates, cuz you can't drive, and if you go somewhere it's usually with someone who can drive and has a phone, I don't see the point.

I got my cell phone when I was 9, but I was really responsible. I wouldn't say you're too young, in this day and age, kids should have a cell phone, you just can't trust things anymore.

I think 11s a good age because that's sort of when you start kind of branching out and being on ur own more.

It depends on how much you do that would require one. For instance, if you go to the movies without parents a lot and need to call to get a ride, it would be helpful. My mom decided to get me one at that age because of that.

I had my first cell phone with 13. i think it's ok to have a cell phone with 11.

To be honest, I think that technology is great, except that we humans are totally unable to make rational use of it.

Cellphones are to be used rationally. Your mom may get you one to kow where you are, but it will not be of much help if it is constantly glued to your ear.

There is no good age. I know hordes of adults that drive while they make use of their cellphones. They can behave more like kids than kids themselves.

I am still wondering exactly why a child would need a cell phone?  Up until 5 years ago, all children actually SURVIVED without access to the telephone 24/7.  I feel that once you have a job and you can support yourself, you can have a cell phone.

heck no i am trying to get a cell phone and i am 11 of course i don't know if i  will get one but if you want one then tell your parents to get  a go phone they can get expensive but they are only like 10.00 bucks at first
