Is 12 minutes for 3000meters good, and also how could i get my time better.?

i am 13 and i got 12 minutes on grass.

  1. thats an ok time for your age and on grass. You must work on endurance and keep a healthy diet. It also depends by how much training you actually do. Keep up the good work!!

  4. The time is OK, how did you do compard to everyone else you were running with? If you beat them all then you have done al you need to do.

    How to get faster? Train for it

    Do stamina training - run and jog 5km

    Do speed training - short distances say, 1500m but fast, run down hill (overspeed training - get fast legs)

    Do leg weight training - run up hills

    Do core strength training, such as sit ups

    Race more to get competetive

  5. its pretty good for 13. A good time for 1500 at that age is 5 mins
