  1. Of course not. I say that's a good age because i have to say...it's easier to understand what ur doing around that age....if that makes sense

  2. No way!!! I started at 16!!! My coach says it actually helps to be a little older, because you are stronger and more dedicated,so you get better faster than younger kids do! You may start in classes with 3 or 4 year olds(like I did) but you in no time at all (if you really try) you will be taking classes with kids around your own age.

  3. Nuh-uh! It's never really too late, as long as you have the motivation and strength to do it. I think that it doesn't really matter what age you started but how long you've been training. But then again, what do I know!

                               Good Luck!!!

  4. no

  5. Themi started when he was 11 now look where he is! Johnny Weir started when he was 12 now look where he is! I am 12, and I am doing double axels, competing juvinelle! Soon I will be junior! Im competing! Arent I! Well I am a high level! Have you ever competed! I have been since I was 8! Good luck!

  6. No.  I started at 12 and have done my fair share of competitions....and am still doing it as an adult skater.  Get into some lessons and you'll be competing in no time!  They even have competitions for skaters who are just starting out and are enrolled in a group lesson program.  Check with your local rink and see when their group lessons are offered.  They're a great way to get involved, learn your basics and meet other skaters before getting into more expensive private lessons.  Good luck!  :)
