Is 12 years old too young to die my hair?

Well i'm 12 yrz old and I want 2 get my hair chemically straightened but my hair is light brown and it looks weird wen i straighten it bcuz of my skin tone so i wanted to die it dark brown. a lot of kids in my grade hav died ther hair but some of them flunked so..... BTW i already got highlights so was i too young 4 that 2?

No, you're not too young. Your getting ready to be a teenager soon, if your parents don't mind then sure dye your hair, it will look good. =)

Dying your hair is not going to cause you to fail school, your brain and how well you use it decides whether or not you will pass/fail school.

As long as your parents don't mind, go for it. Your hair will need special care once you chemically straighten it and dye it. Be sure that you want to commit the extra time and money to it first.

naw. not too young.. just don't dye your hair regularly.. its bad for it.... i waited till i was turning 14 but i had highlights when i was 10...

Highlights is okay. but id wait to dye your hair really dark.

See, i started dyeing my hair when i was younger than you. It was the dumbest thing ive ever done,

1. Because i miss my natural hair colour and now i can never get it back because it wont grow out the same

2. My hair is completely fried and damaged

3. You'll regret it. Like madd.

well most people think its like watever or thats what they told me and i listeind to them and now my hair is like really damaged.

so in my opinion i think that it is not a very good idea and that you are too young for that or at least wait two more years.

i was 12 when i first died my hair, i cant tell you its wrong or right or if you are too young or old enough...i just say...if that is gonna make you feel better, bring up your self esteem and if your parents agree to it, go for it...but don't do anything just to follow what all the other girls in your school do.

Well I'm 12 too...

But I've known kids in my grade who have been getting their hair died since they were ten. And my hair is naturally straight and I really want it to be curly. But if you want you could buy a straightener and use it when you wanted. But I'm sure your hair would get ruined if you get it   chemically straightened ...but I don't really know

Oh and I'm sure it'll look good either way!!

im 12 too and i dye my hair evry semester haha. but thts

just me and u should do what you feel is best and no ur not to young

Your not too young. Ask your one of your parents to get it done and see what they say. if you want to.. get it done. the cemical straightening thing, i say your too young for that.
