  1. 13 is the best age to start gettting involved in golf and golf course jobs. Just know you're gonna have to carry bags and some of them are pretty darn heavy. I know mine is.

  2. The question you have to ask yourself is this:  Can I carry a golf bag around 18 holes and give the golfer good information?  More importantly, can I keep quiet and know when I don't have the correct information?  If the answer to both of these is yes you must ask yourself this final question:  Am I dedicated enough to get to the course at 6:30 or 7:00 in the morning, knowing you won't get out alot in the first few weeks.  If this answer is yes, then you are on your way to getting a great tan, learning a ton about the great game of golf and, most importantly for a 13 year old, making more money than you will know what to do with.  Good Luck!

  3. Depends on your build. If you can carry the bag and walk five miles, by all means do it.

  4. You could always try. They make pretty good tips though. I don't know if they'd hire you. It'd be easier if you were 15-16.

  5. nahh perfect age

  6. i couldnt get a job at 13 were im at. I work as a caddy now but im 14 years old.

  7. No.

  8. I'm 13 and I'm thinking of getting a job at the golf course too.  No I don't think it's too young.

  9. I think you would really enjoy it.  Its a hot and tiring job, but it'll get you in good shape and you'll make really good tips.  However, be sure that you're well versed in the basic rules of golf and most importantly proper golf etiquette.  Don't be afraid to start a conversation with the guy your carrying for.  You'll learn a lot from those guys and it will make you more comfortable and outgoing when speaking with adults.

  10. No your not too young. I am the youngest of all my friends (12) and they are 13. They are all caddying for golf courses. It a great way to spent your day and it makes you money!!! : )
