Can get the 32" Samsung LA32R81BDX for $950 AUS but the 40" Samsung LA40R81BDX is Very cheap at $1100 AUS cause theyre identical panels with all the same features just different sizes..

Would you kick yourself for not getting the bigger one if you could or would the lower resolution psi start to get annoying? My place is small but Id make do if it looks clear enough.. Does anyone out there have a 40" lcd with 1366x768 ?

  1. A 720p 40" television is more than good enough.  Especially if all you are doing is watching HD cable.  The only sources that benefit from a 1080p screen are Blu-Ray, the Playstation3, and the XBOX360.

  2. 1366x768 is a perfectly acceptable resolution for 40".  You would not see the benefit from higher resolutions anyway.

Also, PSI= Pounds per Square Inch
