Is 14.22 seconds a good time over 100m for a 16 year old with no training at all?

i think that's Olympics speed are you shore that's your first time because you could go in a team.

thats physically impossible, no one in the world can swim 100M in 14.22 seconds, the world record is somewhere around the 45 second mark, if you meant a 1:14.22, thats pretty good considering you have never had any swim lessons,

What do you mean by "no training"? Was it the first toime U ever swum?

Assuming you could aleready swim well, thats really good for speed.

If Ure saying U hadnt ever swum before, I dont believe U.

average. Good athletes at your age (assuming your a boy) do low 11's to upper 10's. That means you would finish about20 meters behind them in a race.

Keep at it, that time isn't very good, I was running 12.11 in 8th grade...age 13..my first year of track..I did manage to be part of the relay team but didn't make the cut as the starting sprinters...who were all sub 12 seconds..at 16 a good time should be in the 10.5-11 sec range...it doesn't sound like a big difference but they measure the 100th of a second for a reason in that event...you need to stretch properly before you run and have on track shoes to help with traction and decrease the weight...lots and lots of time trials and weight lifting in your legs will also help...even if you don't make the track team your will still be in better shape and feel great.

OOPS you're talking about swimming....I didn't read the category...wow I can't swim that fast and never could..not many people can.

its impressive i get about 16 sec and im 15 but my m8s in the top ten in uk he gets 10.4 sec
