i guess it's an okay age, but boys like you better when you don't wear it. my fiancee says that's what set me apart from the rest of the girls. i don't wear makeup, so he asked me out on a date and we ended up having a lot in common, and then falling in love eventually. i didn't mean to tell my whole life story, it's just that if you want to be pretty, be the pretty that you already have, without makeup, and you'll stand out more. in a good way.

im 14  and i wear lipgloss, eyeliner, mascara, and sometimes alight powder, but that because i dont like my skin ):

clear sheer pink lipgloss

and some brown/black mascara

and maybe eyeliner

yeah im 14 and i use makeup but not foundation, blush or powder for my face..just use mascara and eyeshadow and if not eyeshadow then lipgloss instead..

Everyone starts at different ages.  That is a good age to start if your mom will let you.  I would start very basic, some concealer, eye shadow, blush, lip gloss, at first to get the hang of it.  Ask an older sister mom, aunt, for help too about it.  You don't want to overdo it at your age, just start with the basics

my advise to u is just make sure u dont wear too much of it cuz later on in life ur eyes will look really bad ull end up looking tired nd have alot of bags and wriknles under ur eyes and ontop of ur eyelids

YES, that's a great age... I am actually 14, and I started when I was 13.. but since it's back to school time, you should try out some makeup so you can come back with a new look.  I agree with everyone else who answered this.  KEEP IT SIMPLE.  Wear a little foundation that matches your skin color.  Mascara.  Sheer lip gloss. Eyeliner if you want (check out different colors, their fun to play with and to match your outfits with)! Eyeshadow if you want (do light colors). anddd there you go!
