Actually, no not at all.  I thought I should have started earlier as I started when I was 12 but the truth is many young children who start dancing or acting at a young age are 8 times out of 10 horrible at what they do because they started because their parents wanted them to.  I saw this girl who took dancing lessons from age 2 to her age now 12, and she is no better than someone who started at age 11 and is now 12.  So experience isn't everything. Its passion, talent, drive and how well you can grow and take direction that determines your fate as an actor or actress.

Of course not! Alot of adult actors didn't start their acting career until after college or OLDER. Our past president Ronald Reagan didn't start his acting career until college(if you knew Ronald Reagan was an actor >_<) and he was very successful and popular. Fourteen is definately not too old to start an acting career.
