Is 14000AED monthly sufficient to lead a comfortable life in Abudhabi.?

I have been offered a job in Abudhabi for a salary of 14000AED monthly. Accomodation allowances, education allowances, ticket and free medical facilities provided.I wish to know whether this salary will enable us ( husband, wife , 1 child ) to lead a comfortable life

Salary of 14000 AED for the three of you is good to lead a comfortable life in Abudhabi.

However, you should take care not to overspend on the house rentals as the rentals have been steadily increasing in the Gulf Regions and form a significant chunk of your monthly expenses.

Sometimes it sounds good as it gets...and when you already there they will change the cause and considerations stated in your contract....but if it's a big company...it's  probably true.

It seems, your basic salary will be AED14K, and accomodation allowancw, education allowance, ticket, medical are provided and not included in this amount.

So it is good enough for you and your family to live here in Abu Dhabi. Of course the accomodation cost is too high here now, and if you get an accomodation provided by employer (not allowances) it will be better.

Other living costs are not comes that much.

So if you get an family accomodation + 14K pm as salary it will be great and you will enjoy your life happily here.

yes it is.. you will like worry FREE.. but not upper class thats for sure.. the country has everything,... mostly values.. you will do fine.. its a great place.. i am trying to find work there now too.. been there for a few months last yr .. cant wait to go back again!!

If its really true that the Company will provide your accomodation (even if only that, because tickets and medical insurance are definitely company provided) and others, then 14k Dirhams is big enough for you and for your family.

Im living here in Abu Dhabi with my Wife and my 10months Daughter, and that amount of yours is bigger on what I am earning now. At least I'm still considering my family status on the middle class of the society and having a comfortable and happy lifestyle. You will come to know  that when you were here already and how you will spend your money and how you will choose the lifestyle you like.
