  1. I drive a 1994 Plymouth Grand Voyager and on my last trip out of state, I got between 22 to 24 miles per gallon.  I got the 24 mpg gas mileage on the highway when I dropped my speed to between 65 and 70 rather than the 75 MPH allowed when going through North Dakota.  So many factors play a part in gas mileage.  Fully loaded with kids and their junk or just mom and the dog ?  Wind at your back or driving into it?  Lots of hills or driving across flat land?  All are factors.

  2. If that is the best it can do consider it scrap.

  3. that's poor

I believe the average for a good mini is 17/20

  4. for an astro, i'd say thats about average. 4.3 motors were never exactly fuel misers.

  5. those things are tanks. im surprised they get that much, but then again im under the impression that they have a V6. So yea, it sounds about right.

but good luck getting that gas mileage when you have passengers loaded in it
