  1. Well im 16 and play number 2 on my high school tennis team and rank number 3 in the state of MA. And truth to tell i didn't start till i was in 5th grade. Any age is good to start playing and it is a sport that you can play throughout your entire life. As of drills try hitting constant cross-court and down the line shots, to learn to be continuous. Good luck

  2. sadly to say, its late to be a pro :(

  3. its not to late

  4. no it's never too late

but maybe it will be more complicated

  5. To be professional yes most probably unless incredibly gifted or an incredible athlete-Like Gael Monfils-He was an athlete first and is still learning how to plsy tennis.

You have missed out on a junior career-Which is okay as Djokovic and such players were not great Juniors. You have however missed out on many years of practise that enables you to develop into a top player

Sorry to be negative  but it is now highly unlikely-Nevertheless you can still enjoy playing tennis and take part in tournaments around The UK and around the world. I am 16 and have played many tournaments but am never likely to be professional despite being a handy player.

  6. umm to become a pro... probably

to become a champ, not really.. you could do it if you work hard enough

im 15, also... but ive been playing since i was 11.... im a champ right now

    i practice14 hrs a week, 5 at school and 9 at a club...

im number  on my highschool varsity... and im a freshman...

so you could do it... but youd have to sacrifice alot of time

  7. well last summer (freshman year of high school) i decided that i was gonna start playing. My first year went alright, and by working hard i got the number 3 spot on JV. There are about 25 kids who try out for JV. This past season i was #1 on JV and starting in the fall i will be the #2 doubles spot on varsity. So NO it is not too late to become a good player. As reccomendations go... run daily, tennis is much more exhausting than it looks.... and the kids with more experience have only one thing on you, and its like you said, experience. With the mindset that you can beat anyone, you CAN
