  1. They can give you an estimate, but not all boys have fully developed by then, and a girl's parts are enlarged and sometimes can look like boy parts...that's why they won't usually give you a 100% yes that early.

  2. My doctors said the earliest was 18 weeks.  I was there that week to find out!  I would wait at least 3 more weeks.

  3. I found out at 16 weeks.

  4. i would wait i was 20weeks with my daughter and she told me she was 99.9% certain it was a girl and she was :)

  5. they can see the s*x at 15 weeks they might not give you a high percentage of what the s*x could be, if its a boy then its more obvious but sometimes girls can be harder to be sure about. just see what the midwife says! good luck x

  6. Even if they can tell, which they usually can't that early, they won't swear by it and probably tell you not to make any big plans off their guess till the next ultrasound.  Some techs are really good though, so who knows.  Most say 18-20 weeks is best.  I'm going tomorrow and hope she can tell me and I'll be 17w2d, so keep your fingers crossed!

  7. They could find out then but they probably wont look for that in the scan. Don't fret though only a couple more weeks to go.

  8. Most dr.'s wait until you are at least 18 weeks, but I read that the gender can be spotted as early as 15 weeks. I would drink some orange juice and eat a donut or something sweet on your way to the sonogram to help the baby be as active as he/she can be. The more active they are, the better chance the sonographer will have at spotting the gender!

    Congrats!

  9. I found out just before 16 weeks and a friend of mine found out at 14 so yes. It is possible if your doctor will look. Some refuse to even try before 18-22 weeks.

  10. they suggest past 20 weeks, at 15 weeks its still hard to see even though its there. If you want a higher percentage of knowing ....i would wait

  11. Definitely can find out the gender then. woohoo. I wish I was that far. I am only nine.
