Is 1560 a good score for SAT???

Question

i got a 1560 on my SAT

i took it for the first time and did not even study for it at all

not even touched a book

i am from a different country and i did not know how the test is going to be and i didnt have any friends who could help me. so if figured out that it would be better if i take it once and well i took it and now i dont have anyone to compare with to c if i did better or not. please help me out

i am taking it in october again and hoping that i can raise it upto 1800 is that better and is it hard

the other thing is i think i actually did good on the first SAT test- but i got that score because i answered every question as i didnot know about the mark reduction thing so i think i lost a lot of points there .

please guys help me out .

i really want to get into a good college

like an ivy leaue

and please tell me any tips that i can use

and i find the english sections hard (partly the essay)please help

ya the first time i took it i was in the same situation as you and got the exact same score and im also taking it in october. but in order to get into ivy league you need a score of at least 2200.
