Is 1600 people alot for a concert?

I'm going to a concert that seats 1,600. is that a big or a small theater?

Big theater, definitely. Small theaters are for an audience of about 500 or less.

I'd say that it is a big theatre.

If you compare it to the Winter Garden Theatre on Broadway (which has 1530 seats), then yes, it is large.

A medium sized theatre has about, maybe, 1150 seats (this is around the number of the theatre I usually perform in).
