Is 1670/2400 a good sat score for a sophmore?

It was my first time to take it and i will admit i started paying less attention at the end.....the thing is long as h**l.

To be honest, not really, when I was in seventh grade I got a 1650. Yes, its still lower, but I was also 3 grade levels lower than you. If you want to get into an Ivy or even a top college, you have to have at least a 2100 in your senior year.

It's not bad for a sophomore, but I highly suggest that you take an SAT prep class before taking the SATs as a junior. It helped me!

I got a 1900 as a sophoromore and a 2100 as a junior.

I totally know what you mean it is boring as h**l... that is an alright score for a sophmore but you have to remember not to be lazy and take it again because i forgot to take it for a third time so i was stuck with a 1800 which really is not good enough to get me into a good college alone. The coolest thing to study from is this electronic studyguide from the princeton review that has studyguides as well as several full length tests and it is pretty small so you can just stuff it in your pocket and do it whenever your bored... i bought mine off ebay cause it is way cheaper that way. oh and just so you know 1500 is the average score

my son is a sophmore too and he got around two wrong per section on his first try.
