Is 18 "too young" of an age to smoke a pipe?

Haha, okay, well, I'm 18, and want to start smoking a pipe. My friends are telling me that I'm too young to "pull off" smoking a pipe, and need to be at least 40. I just wanted to know what you guys thought.

I say go for it. Never mind Guest3030 - You smoke a pipe occasionally, not several times a day. Yeah, your body and clothes might take on the scent of your pipe tobacco, but an aromatic smoke doesn't smell bad, and it's easy to de-tox. Anyway, I started smoking a pipe when I was maybe 15, and it's one of the greatest adult pleasures I've learned to enjoy. At college, when I was a fresh-faced 18-year-old, no one gave me a hard time about lighting up a pipe with sweet-smelling aromatic tobacco. Matter of fact, quite a few other students my age smoked pipes. Give it a try - I bet you'll enjoy it.
