Is 19 too young to be travelling alone?

if not, what is the more mature age? im thinking of travelling out of country.

I personally don't think any age should travel across the country its dangerous but if you want 19 is a good age =)  just be careful

Of course, just ensure you have a good plan and you make everyone at home aware of this.Try and keep in touch at every opportunity with friends and family at home!

Definitely not. I started traveling alone out of the country (NY to Thailand) at the age of 16. I was scared at first but it really wasn't that bad. As long as you speak English you are pretty much set because all the signs and everything is in English. If you have any problems just ask anyone that works at the airport, they know enough English to help you. Happy Traveling.

theirs  has been quite a few young female travelers murdered lately however its not really about the age , if you are a mature and responsible  19 year old then thats cool but if not then id think about the idea alot more.

Not at all. You're above legal age in Canada. But it may be difficult without a source of income. Where are you thinking of going?
