  1. why would it be illegal, if you got the money you could have 50 connections to your home if you wanted.

  2. Its not illegal to have the two running together. (If you have 2 phone lines connecting into the building one from Virgin one from BT)

Like the previous poster stated. If the residence your moving to already has a Virgin Media Line installed. Then you wont be running off a BT/O2 phoneline (Which is a prerequisite for having O2 Broadband.)

You'll either need to try and gain a MAC code off Virgin Media to transfer back to O2 or cancel your O2 account and go with Virgin Media to conform with the current tenancy unfortunatly. It really does depend on your rights as a tenant and how your phone lines are configured. Before you commit to anything I recommend you speak to your landlord

    Hope this helps

  3. There is no issue with legality.

If the Virgin connection is DSL (down a phone line) then you can't use that phoneline for an O2 connection.

If your O2 connection is via mobile, then no conflict.

If the Virgin connection is via cable, then if you want to use a BT phoneline for a DSL connection, you'll have to pay for installation if there's not one already there...

It will be cheaper to share an enhanced Virgin cable connection, if it's available and you can agree to it...

  4. check how many lines go to house,

do you know for a fact O2 as a service to the address ,

    would check.

it is not illegal with 2 lines .

    just check 2 lines available.

    hope this helps
