Is 2 points worth proving your stupid?

I mean really people, if your going to answer a question, use your better judgment and common sense. I mean we are talking about a point system on a search engine that will ultimately do nothing for you. But answering questions you have no knowledge of only shows the world your an idiot. Remember, it is better to be thought a fool and remain silent than to speak and remove all doubt.

  1. Is this a paradox? Does answering this make me stupid?

Anyway, the 2 points doesn't matter, you're right.

That's why I only answer something like a fifth of my available answers on any given day... there aren't a LOT of intriguing questions on here....

  2. I gained some needed points, I call this a quick mission.

  3. Sorry we do not all conform to your views but kindly allow us to express them freely.

  4. Some people do it just to get to the next level, and then there are some who honestly believe they have a legit, intelligent and socially sound answer.  Stupid is in not in the mind of the beholder at times, and in essence to everyone else it can STILL be just an opinion.  I mean unless the answer was just blatantly wrong like 2+2= your mom, 6, 25, WHATEVER....then okay it's either they're doing it on purpose, or they're just extremely retarded.

But in cases like relationships, some philosophy....stuff that can actually have more than one right definite answer, that's when you can't really tell them they're stupid cause it is completely disagreeable to YOU....because whatever the case it may have other right answer according to a person's beliefs or lifestyle.

Oh yea, it's yahoo answers, if it was a pointless search engine that will ultimately do nothing for you, then they DO have the right to make stupid answers because hey...it's pointless so who would it really bother except the weirdos that hold the grudge over some stranger making a dumb answer for way too long than necessary.

  5. Maybe...

    Somehow...

    Call me stupid...

    but...

I think it's just the "mood" of a peson that dictates him whether he or she wants to answer properly to a question or just play simply and look like stupid.

    ...

But I think it's better to answer even you answer like a fool because somewhat you need points to go leveling.

Remaining silent would make you more look like an idiot if you'd not answer in such search engine and forum.

That's what I think... stupid thinking.

  6. Your point is valid, and pointing out the futility of Answers equally so.

However, to be awarded 2 points, or 10 for simply writing my opinion, never vacillating, being honest with myself, and using this as my own therapy.

  7. Is loosing 5 points worth proving your stupid?  I guess so or you would not have asked the question.

    Thanks for the 2!

  8. I think its stupid you wrote an essay about a question that dosesnt even concern you,

Hey ive heard answers could be wrong a lot of the times but this is the first time ive sEen a "wrong question"

its not even meant to be funny.

you should be ashamed of yourself you are disgusting as a human gross gross gross go away go punch in your late for you janitorial job go clean to toilet thats where you BELONG!!

  9. i have to agree with you on this one.  i do this for a hobby when i take study breaks and its a good waste of an hour, but some of the things i've read on here blow my mind.  there is a reason that i'm not answering questions in the astrophysics section.  furthermore, it is not only some of the answers that are mindblowingly stupid, but the grammar in which they are answered.  i can't even understand some of them.  i have no qualms with any person who asks a question that some might perceive as stupid because thats how we learn.  i would rather look stupid and know a simple answer than actually be stupid and not know it.  in conclusion, i would like to add that this is a healthy and harmless hobby, but we are all pretty stupid for spending so much time on here.  this does include me by the way.  i am actually asking myself why i took the time to write this when i would be doing something productive, but i am and will continue to do so.  i agree with you wholeheartedly my friend and sincerely hope that some people will take your advice.

  10. Is asking a question worth losing 5 points for? oh and who died and made you the oracle?

P.S. Well, from your responses you clearly think you have an answer for everything and everybody. Ever consider you might be wrong or just plain rude?

  11. Do you mean that all those who try and don't get it wright are idiots??..I dont think so..

Please, do try to be in control emotionally next time you want to put your message across.

Your approach does not show that you are wiser either.

    Thanks for the concern dear

  12. Ii agree on the idiotic answers i see on here but i do try to get points In a certain section...it is of interest to me and i like to see if my answer is most helpful  and i have two jobs ,a kid, a grand kid, husband and this is my way to zone out and relax after all my responsibilities...

  13. stupid is as stupid does Forrest Gump.

  14. People do a lot of things if they can remain anonymous.

As to the points, I have a lot of them, they do me no good and all it means is that I'm retired.

I like politics because no one is really right, and all that hot air keeps me warm.
