Is 2 too young for a page boy walk down the isle?

Question

I have 2 nephews, both will be 2 when we get married.

Can I expect them to walk down the isle? I Don't mind if they run, walk, stop halfway, but I don't want them to be bored - will they even care at 2 about being involved?

Or should I just leave them with their parents but still have them dressed up and in all the photo's etc?

You might consider allowing it, with a backup plan in case they're unruly on your special day, such as by having an adult walk them down the aisle.

pair them with an older child or adult for the walk.  then you might want them to go sit down or something for the ceremony.  that's kind of young to stand still and be quiet for any length of time.

There is nothing cuter than little boys and girls trying to make it down the isle!

I would include the children in the Wedding and have them walk together.  As a Bride just ensure that you will not be upset if they chicken out last minute!  But if they make it down the isle, it's great pictures and video.  Plus they are family!

Since they are young, I would recommend Eton Suits for them, people will just eat them in it.  Also, provide magnetic drawing boards for each child at their seat during the ceremony, there's no mess and nothing can fall to the ground since the magnetic pen is attached (Magna Doodle).  They should walk down the isle but then have a seat with an adult to supervise them and keep them busy quietly.

I think it is wonderful! Yes you can have an adult follow them down as a just in case and then if they get bored you can have some crayons or something quiet for a 2 year old to play with.

yeah, good luck with that one. Its probably best to have a parent walk with them. Or, perhaps, a slightly older kid to help keep the order (a cousin they get along with etc.)
