Yes it's kind of akward. It's happened many times i see old friends i havent seen in 1 or 2 years but our friendship was so strong prior to this there were no hard feelings and we got along as if we were talking just yesterday, and i dont know about you but 2 years, even 4 feel like just yesterday to me, time is flying.

  1. It is kind of long, I don't think I could possibly do that.  It's good that you talked to them again.

  2. Not atall!! I know someone who I didn't speak to for nearly two years because we had a fight, then one day we started talking and it was as if we'd never stopped. If it was a really good friendship, it doesn't matter how long it was, you'll always feel comfortable with him/her again! It's a good feeling to catch up with an old friend isn't it? :)

  3. no way.. I found that when I have ocntact with someone after so long, that when we do get to that moment it's just like we havent skipped a beat. It's exciting. I love it.

  4. The friends that you have during each segment of your life are important and keeping in touch with them is a wonderful thing (even if several years pass in between).  They knew you best when....(you were in high school, college, at the old job, a new parent, etc.)  Your life has changed, and so has theirs, and growing apart in inevitable.  The best of friends, however can do like you said, pick up where you left off and it feels like yesterday!  That's why I love Christmas cards...keeping in touch once a year is great!

  5. It is the same even if it is forty years. Time changes each of us, in some way, but we stay the same as we have always been. What I find remarkable is that time seems to stand still. Even though you may not have seen someone in a long time and they may look different, they still have the same qualities that attracted you. I suppose we see them as they were, a bit older perhaps, but the same and even after 40 years, it is good.

  6. no it not your fault you fell out of contact but it will make ur friendship stronger  when u do get in touch u will not now that u ain't been in contact for a long time
