Is 20 bucks alot for allowence

That depends. Do you do any other chores besides cleaning house, and is the house large or tiny? Before I had a job, I got ten dollars a week making my parents' bed, emptying the trashes and cleaning my room every Friday.

yes..it's plenty..you're lucky your parents give you an allowance..some people have to clean the house for free. Be thankful

how often?  Your allowance should be 2x your age. Also, you should help do chores because you live there, not because they pay you to do it kiddo! ;-)  Have you thought about a paper route to make some extra cash?
