Is 20 grams of acetaminophen in 8.5 days a lot?

Should I be worried about that amount?

I took about 1.5 grams per dosage every 12 hours... I didn't realize how much I was taking till today.

Acetominophen/paracetomol is a pain killer, if you need to take pain killers for 8 days you should see a physician.

The recommended dose is 1 gram per dose every four hours and a maximum of 4 doses (i.e. 4 grams) in 24 hours. So although you weren't taking the maximum dose per day, you were taking more than the recommended grams per dose. You might be alright at this stage but change to the recommended dosage next time.
