Is 20 to old to begin learning how to play an instrument and to pursue it professionally?

I'm 20 and I really have no skills or anything on any instrument. But I really have a desire to start playing the guitar and get into other instruments but am I too old to learn it and get really good at it?

Nope your never really to old to learn how to do or play something.

Theres really no limit to when you should start playing music there isn't a limit for playing professionally either but when it comes to being a pro you have to at least have the skills to back it up. So don't quit your day job just yet :)

No. I didn't start learning theory, composition, and vocal performance until I was 18, and I knew people older than me just starting out.

...but be warned: there isn't an easy living to be made in music!
